Dr Sathish Kumar Nadanasigamani is a highly experienced and dedicated orthodontist with over 20 years of expertise in orthodontics and smile transformation. Renowned for his patientcentered philosophy, he treats every individual with warmth and compassion, ensuring a comfortable and supportive experience throughout their orthodontic journey.

From 2006 to 2014, Dr Sathish practiced orthodontics in India, where he was honored with the Best Orthodontist Award and a Humanitarian Award from the Government of India for his exceptional contributions to cleft lip and palate care. Between 2015 and 2022, he served in Qatar as a Medical Director and Specialist Orthodontist, leading multidisciplinary teams and providing highquality care to a diverse patient population.

After moving to the UK, he worked at Diss Dental Health Centre from May 2022 to May 2023 before joining Making Smiles Orthodontics, where he continues to deliver advanced orthodontic treatment and create confident, healthy smiles.

His clinical interests include fixed braces, Invisalign, functional appliances, miniimplants, multidisciplinary orthodontics, and the management of Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). He also holds a UK patent for an appliance designed to support OSA management.

Outside of dentistry, Dr Sathish enjoys cricket and has a deep love for pets, reflecting his friendly, compassionate, and teamoriented nature. He is happily married to Dr Divya, an A&E physician, and they are proud parents of two children.

Dr Sam Prasanth Shankar is a Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics, bringing extensive international training and experience to his practice. He completed his Master’s in Orthodontics in 2018 and subsequently served for over three years as a Senior Resident at AIIMS, one of India’s most prestigious government institutions. He later worked as a Specialist Orthodontist in Muscat, Oman, where he led the Orthodontics section for more than three years, managing the unit and treating a wide range of orthodontic cases.

His clinical interests include Class III malocclusions, impacted teeth, mini-implant–assisted orthodontics, interceptive treatments for growing patients, and multidisciplinary management of complex dentitions. He is also a journal reviewer with Elsevier and has published several scientific papers in indexed journals, maintaining a strong commitment to evidencebased practice.

Dr Sam holds Fellowships in Orthodontics (FOrth) from both the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (RCS Ed.) and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow (RCPS Glasg.). In addition, he holds the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) from the Royal College of Glasgow and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He gained entry to the UK General Dental Council register after successfully completing his licensing examination in 2025.

Alongside his clinical qualifications, Sam was awarded an MBA in Hospital Management in 2018, combining his orthodontic expertise with a strong understanding of healthcare systems and leadership. He is known for being approachable, highly communicative, and passionate about delivering highquality, patientcentred orthodontic care for both children and adults.

Outside of practice, Sam enjoys travelling and gardening, and is married to Dr Blessy.
